Saccharin is an artificial, or non-nutritive, sweetener. Saccharin is approximately 500 times sweeter then sugar.

Main applications:
Table top sweeteners, baked goods, soft drinks, fruit juice, fruit concentrates, ice cream, chewing gum, and some vitamins and medicines.
